What a sharp contrast to yesterday. Glorious sunshine, although a bit of a cold wind. Nobody about which was amazing. An ideal spring day. I disturbed a lone heron, and was kept company with the call of a lapwing from the field by the side of the canal. It was rather muddy underfoot - due obviously to the recent rain and the numerous doggies that normally tread this path with their owners!
