Well its a white lilac...in a hurry today as our son moved yesterday and we were helping him with a few things. I went exploring the very long and narrow overgrown garden while hubby helped with rebuilding stuff that had been dismantled yesterday for the move. I can't see the garden ever being 'sorted' so the plants and shrubs will no doubt gradually do their own thing, the weeds and brambles will take over, and the wild life will benefit to some extent I expect. Gardening will be the last on our sons list of 'things to do' in the next few years!
