Re- posting as I realised I had put up the wrong photo. This one is more true to the colour as sometimes my blues look too purple. This is a very vivid bright blue in the flesh so to speak and the camera still gives it a purple hue. Need to look at my camera settings to see how to correct it and stop it happening again.
I love irises! Have some growing down on the farm probably got there thru soil movement. We have these blue ones and I think you have got a good interpretation of their colour. Especially in the morning soft light
Beautiful and vibrant! I think a lot of cameras struggle with recording blue and purple. There is probably a way to compensate for that but I do not know it.
I would be very pleased with this shot the focus and colour is excellent, if it is still too blue for you then try reducing the saturation in post processing - fav
