Sitting by our small wildlife pond having a mid afternoon break from our kitchen renovation we suddenly saw this dragonfly land nearby. I dashed inside for my camera but found it very difficult to get a good shot. This is heavily cropped, and only a bit in focus, but I love the detail of that small portion.
