Its not every day a float plane flies past your kitchen window - just grabbed the camera in time but didn't get chance to clean the window - lol.
This plane has been stored at the neighbours all winter - its pilot arrived today to have a play. He practised his take offs and landings for quite some time.

That plane was back again today buzzing around. I had to chuckle though as just as we were getting into the car to head into town, the pilot walked over to ask for help as the tractor had broken down and he couldn't tow the plane back up on shore after his airtime/playtime. I didn't have time to take a photo of that unfortunately. .
@littleconnie It is quite cool to have this view which of course changes with the weather and the seasons. It does make kitchen time much more interesting.
