@brooketallman - I certainly wasn't unhappy, I was glad to be free of him but it was an unhappy time in my life being walked out on and left with a mortgage and three kids under 3

@kjarn i can completely relate. it's such a horrible thing to go through, especially with kids involved. you should be so proud of all you've accomplished despite (or because of) it!
@robinwarner - you are such a honey Robin and I'm so glad to know you but I really am OK now - this all happened 22 years ago - ha ha. I think I should add some information to the photo :-)
@mjkeator - thanks Meg. It was a rough time but and well in the past now. I've added more information to the photo for those who didn't notice the date on the paper.
Sorry you had to go through such a tough time. I hope you feel you were better for it in the long run. I can only imagine as I have two under two and that is a handful without a third...wow!
@lrappa - I now own my house, my kids are all grown and healthy, I've got 2 1/2 grand kids, I socialise with my friends and I love my job so it seems to have all turned out pretty well.
