Very sweet. I take a lot of wildlife photos like this where part of the animal is in shade. Last year I got Photoshop Elements (the cheapest version) and it has an easy sliding bar for lightening up the shadows in a photo. Makes a big difference in bringing out the details in a shady spot. Have you ever tried something like that?

@annepann I have photoshop, but I don't usually do more than a little crop and downsize for web display as to be honest I don't know much about using it in any fancy or photographic processes way. Do you mean you can just lighten the shadow areas not the whole image? that would interest me so much!
