Legion has such a distinctive nose pattern that it makes my method of identification a snap! thank you for the many thoughtful comments on my photos, every one is read and appreciated
Great shot. Is that discoloration the way that they are identified. I would have thought that that would have grown over and all would have been brown.
@rickster549 hey Rick - yes those pinkish splotches are how I identify each koala, they seem to develop their pigment by quite early in life, and if there are any non-pigmented patches they stay that way for life :)
