Legion was actually lower in a tree so I was lucky enough to get reasonably close for this shot which is quite a treat. thank you for the comments yesterday, stayed an extra day after the wedding and will head home to check koalas tomorrow! sorry I'm totally out of touch commenting

This is beautiful. I thought of you and your furry friends yesterday, as I saw something on the French news about a dead koala being pinned to a post near Brisbane. It was absolutely horrific. I can't imagine being cruel to any animal, but somehow this image really shocked me. So very sad and disrespectful.
