@fbailey it can happen, but it really is not something common - so possible but not very probable :) they have an amazing grip and can be surprisingly agile in a sudden situation!
@vignouse I love your questions :) this joey is probably about 0.5kg or 1lb in weight. This weight will double over the next 2 months, then double again so that by 12 months old (joey is now 6-7months old) joey will be around 2.5 kg. That's impressive growth, especially on tough calorie-poor eucalytpus leaves :) (joey still drinks milk from mum a few times a day as well and will be fully weaned at 10 -11 months old)
