hands for feet

Love how Bullet is holding on with his feet, using those feet thumbs to full capacity. Yep he was sleeping away like this was just perfect ... thank you for the awesome comments and questions on my photos
Brilliant position and lovely capture...fav

Wow ...Bullet must have been exhausted! Fav!

Sometimes they look so uncomfortable, almost straining to stay up there.

You're getting better and better at recording their behavourial traits - it isn't just 365, it's a serious study of koala comportement... well done.

Bullet - and gang - are so flexible!
March 7th, 2019
That looks uncomfortable to me! I can really see how he is holding on with fingers and toes, though!

Another wonderful capture of these special animals. It must be amazing to be around them daily, fav!

Gorgeous!

to be honest that looks more comfortable as a position to sleep in rather than the ones dangling or supported on sticks in tender places. These shots are such fun

Looks like an acrobat :)

Those claws are really interesting. And what an odd position.

@taffy yeah their hands and feet are unique and the claws are pretty impressive :)

@shannejw glad you are enjoying - I agree that I couldn't do this position either, but it looks far better than a few I've caught lately!

It doesn't look comfortable but I guess it is to a koala :-) Great shot
March 8th, 2019
It doesn't look very relaxing - (is he a teenager by any chance?)
March 8th, 2019
Super shot, still amazing to see them sleep in these strange poses.

He looks so uncomfortable, great capture. Fav!! 😀

It always amazes me that they don't fall out of the trees when they go to sleep. Lovely shot.

@ziggy77 Bullet is heading to fully mature over the next year or so - he is about turning 4, so you would think of him mid 20's heading up to thirty this year :)

@josiegilbert I know what you mean Josie - somehow they can do a locking grip then totally relax everything else. I would just give a bit of myoclonic jerk and hit the ground hahaha

@samae I am so honoured - isn't it amazing what the internet enables! To think that I do my daily things, then can have that influence the joy of lives in so many ways - quite humbling really! Thank you for sharing that back with me, it means so much :)
