hang on, do I know you? by koalagardens

hang on, do I know you?

I thought this was Ellie, but that is not her nose pattern and this girl was quite shy too ... another newbie. I love this dispersion time each year.
How wonderful - another new little girl ! Hope she will like and stay awhile !!

@beryl she's actually been here a few days, I'm having to re-examine my photos as I truly thought it was Ellie until I got this shot ... I was a bit suspicious as she seemed a bit hyper-aware of me, and Ellie mostly ignores me. But Bullet had been around her for the first 2 days so I thought she was just stressed by his advances ... such soap operas!

@koalagardens Ooh !poor new kid on the block being advanced by Bullet before even having time to settle in !!

Did the people who produced the report on the declining koala population that was on the news last night visit your place? LOL

Now we've to wait to see if she stays around. and then I wonder what you'll call her.

How exciting, another newbie. Bullet seems to be chasing all the girls at the moment. Maybe he should be renamed Georgie Porgie ha ha. I hope he doesn't chase the new girl away.

@terryliv don't even start me on the AKF. they declared that koalas are extinct in Tuckurimba back in 2019 ...

@onewing @ludwigsdiana I think she must have made him cry as he has moved off chasing other white bums and she has stayed put for some days 🤣

@gardencat right? it's really rather awesome, that has been 3 new girls in just weeks - Bela, Nina and now this one. It's about time! 🤗

@cdcook48 the nose! can you see the little bits of pink around the edges of her nostrils? I have to get really clear photo of the nose, and I have a file of them, and compare any new koala to identify. I really had thought this was Ellie, but she just does not have the pink on the top edges of the nostril. It can be rather painstaking work! but if you flick back through some photos here and just look at the nose you might notice some really obvious great patterns - some are easy, some are not 🐨
