For those who know the size of our yellow-tailed black cockatoos, well they are impressive. I had a flock of them and the beating of their wings as they passed right beside me, and the screeching was quite an experience. They ripped open young tree trunks to remove boring grubs, the sound of that was really loud too! I have photos of huge holes into trees that are hollow, so they knew which to go for!
