No fire threat to this property, yet this is how it is this morning - this is smoke not fog. Deep in winter and it's short sleeves, high temperatures, drought and bushfires everywhere. Unbelievable, yet governments sign on continuing destruction of as much environment as possible. Rant over, so sad today.
Oh this is heart-breaking to see you're living with the effects of this as well! And how shocking YOUR winter drought and our summer drought have brought us to this... I worry about the seasons as they change in six months and for how long this can go on! But then, there's enough to worry about today...so sad...
Is there anything you can do to protect the property against those fires? It’s so worrisome to see the smoke of those fires and there is notting you can do about it. It is indeed very sad to think about those things, nowing that gouverments do almost notting
@jacqbb not really - only make sure you do things to protect the house, but out in the bush when a fire comes along eucalypts to up fast as they have a high oil content. yes governments know we are changing the climate, but they are not going to slow anything down sadly.
@hermann so frightening - finally I see we have rain forecast for next weekend - it's horrible when you see that but as the time approaches it all changes back to suns. fingers crossed we see something turn around soon
