For 30 days wild and June wild word 'leading line'. I used the timer on my camera to do this. You can see Krissy nearly in the palm of my hand. It took a lot of attempts and I would have liked my hand to be right under him but it was quite windy and getting close to rain starting. Yeah that's my excuse.
Actually I was taking this photo to go onto a new government web site where they will be doing a story about my work with koala habitat and they requested a photo. I deliberately had the focus set on Krissy, so when you view this larger I am slightly blurred out which suits me fine hahaha
The environment dept loved the photo and I suddenly realised I had made a leading line so it's a three for one!
Now let's see how long it takes a government department to take a bunch of supplied images and text, and get it published ;)
Hope the governement will do something good... As i understand you do this for several years now and never see you complain... Must cost some, but on the other hand you get so much in return :) and we love the pictures you upload daily.. a win win win win if you ask me, but again, i hope they will help you with whatever they can..
@madeinnl thank you, I apply for all the funded projects I can find to allow me to have professional regenerators come on the property and help the ecosystem recover. I do hope to have some exciting news in the next days too .... stay tuned to this channel ;)
I wish you luck with trying to get anything out of the government, although I did hear that Queensland wants to be known for its Koala population. I know you are just outside the boarder but at least they are starting to take notice that koalas need help.
@sugarmuser I am always applying for funding (state and federal) and have some kind of project happening here all the time - there are 2 projects at the moment but one finishes this month (it went for 2 years) and the other is about to go into its third year. It is a huge process and very time consuming to write and submit funding applications!
A good idea to use your hand to point him out - and it's always good to see the people doing all of the work and worry. I hope it gets used to effect. :)
Wonderful, Wonderful....What a great selfie & of course with Krissy. So great you are getting recognition, I know you love what you do & your work is SO special...All the very best with the Govt. Dept. Fav
