... with Topaz.
I've been loving the texture work a few here have been producing. So today I downloaded a trial version of Topaz Studio, and I'm pretty sure I will pay for the software, but what a learning curve I have ahead of me!
In reality I played with quite a number of images before having a go at this one which I had planned to use as the upload for today, it is my first serious go.
This looks wonderful Katrina, love the texture you chose. I am sure you will love Topaz Studio. You will come to grips with it in next to no time. Do you use the clone stamp in PS to get rid of the frame? I tried it, but it somehow does not look right ;-)
What a wonderful first attempt at textures. I too admire those who use them on this site, they create wonderful images. I look forward to watching your journey as you continue to use them :)
This is super - and your first one! I like topaz and do use it occasionally. Topaz sometimes runs a live webinar tutorial at the end of which they will give you a discount code that you can use in their store - although I haven't seen one lately.
I love what you did with the frame.
@ludwigsdiana hi Diana - I create the frame on a separate layer, and then I use the eraser to remove the parts I don't want :) Topaz is sure a whole new world for me!
@jernst1779 thanks for that tip! I bought denoise after doing a trial for a while, then I got a coupon for a discount by email and found I had another discount I could apply. So hopefully I'll get lucky on the price for the full studio too :)
@koalagardens thanks Katrina, I would not know how to do that on a separate layer, I will have to find a tutorial ;-)
Re Topaz Studio, I could not do without it anymore although I do not do my textures there :-)
