I used this for my FoR pop last year as it is heart shaped and was my valentine present from my late husband in 2011. It has never been without flowers and converting to BW was not so easy but I think this works. The fact it has never been without flowers is where my title comes from :)
The different tones of grey and highlights make the b&w really work well. Having it flowering so well must bring back memories for you on each Valentine's Day.
@robz thanks Rob - because it has never been without a flower, and I mean it has been covered in these big heart shaped flowers every single day since he gave it to me, I think of him every day when I see it on my back verandah - and it is one of those smiling moments :)
Such a beautiful plant with such loving memories for you . We hold such beautiful memories of our loved one in many and unique ways . How wonderful that this plant is for always giving you the delight of its beautiful vibrant colour ( we can only imagine from this B/W ) A lovely challenge for you to convert to b/w. - fav
Looks good to me! I use Nik Silver Efex most of the time for b&w as it gives such a wide range of effects. I use it in
conjunction with PS Elements. If you Goigle 'how to legally download Nik filters for free' it might be worth a try. I swear by 'em. It's best to shoot in RAW if you use them and not sure if you need a supporting software or they can be used as standalone. Just Googled query and you can use as stand alone:)
