It's ours!!

Almost 20 years ago my husband and I moved to our small town so I could start my first teaching job. We drove by this amazing piece of property and commented on its pretty. Over the years we've built ourselves five different houses (my husband is a builder), each time profiting a little more. We always upgraded our next build and increased the profit margin accordingly. Over the years we have driven by 1000s of times always thinking about it. Several months ago a for sale appeared so we called immediately. It wasn't the right time or price. Those who have followed for a bit, know that we sold our latest a couple of months ago. We have been searching for land and today a sold sign went up.. it's ours!! While it will be next Monday when we write the BIG cheque! One acre of waterfront... we're both in shock! That green building is a wooden boat shed. There's a 55 year old house at the opposite end that is ugly and in need of a bulldozer. We're so excited!!

@shamrockinmom It's a nice space! We are totally in love with it. A lot of my recent shots have been taken here. We will be building a house... The hunt for the perfect plan is ongoing. In the meantime we're camping there lots!
