Hibiscus

We're about to get a taxi to the airport and make our marathon journey home. Honolulu to Seattle, Seattle to Vancouver, 2 hour ferry to Nanaimo and then a 1.5 hr drive to Campbell river. Can't wait to sleep in my own bed.

Got this shot of the only "variegated" hibiscus I saw on either island today as we explored Waikiki one last time. Here's another shot from today...

Hope your trip goes well, sounds like quite the adventure! I enjoyed your flower - so often I've seen hibiscus flowers with the petals in focus but their stigma is usually out of focus, since it is long. I like how you focused on the stigma instead.
