A Sailboat Went By

This boat passed by the house today. It was cold (-10 but felt like -14 with the wind) when we woke up but the sun shone all day. The mountains and water looked beautiful. This sailboat just seemed to add to the scene.
OK - number 1 your view is stunning. How do you take a photo of that every single day? Number 2 - what a perfect capture. I love how the window frames the boat.

@maggiemae The ocean you are looking at is between the east coast of Vancouver Island (right about in the middle) and the mainland of North America. It's called the Strait of Georgia.

@katiebrenkert @nanalisarocks This is the view from my living room. We're 16m or 52' from the high tide line. We love the view and how it is always changing.

@psychographer We have 4 - 4foot panels of glass (16' long in total). The centre two open to form a giant sliding glass door. I only got 3 in this shot.
