You're probably all getting bored of my eagle shots but I didn't get anything else worth while today and I thought these five beauties in the same tree were pretty impressive this morning when I looked outside. There were 10 in the same tree yesterday but I was too slow in getting the camera out.
I must tell you about yesterday afternoon.... I was laying on the floor doing sit ups and I looked to my right and saw what I thought was a black fin in the water. I jumped up and saw FOUR KILLER WHALES swimming past the house!! It's our first time seeing whales since living here. I wish I got a photo but they come up and then go down for a several seconds and with my zoom lens (which was on the tripod at the window) it was too difficult to spot them so I decided to stop trying and just take in the moment with my eyes! Next time!!
NEVER!!! I will never grow tired of seeing them. They are so hard to spot around here. Fav because it's a beautiful capture... and because I am so stinking jealous! ;) And the whales?? ...Are you, by chance, renting out rooms? Enough to sleep 12 perhaps? ;) So lucky!!
Wow, just WoW! both for the eagles and omg the killer whales! (ooohh house swap :) nothing like eagles or killer whales near me, makes me rather envious of your stunning view, I would certainly have bruises on my arm from pinching myself to make sure what I was seeing was real.
Just as I suspected... never been there. But now I really want to go someday. Until then, I'll enjoy the view from my screen. Thank you for sharing it. :)
You are so lucky to get to see such beautiful birds right out of your window. Considering most of us stay in such crowded cities, such views are hardly ever possible. We would have to go to national park to get to see one of these. Really nice pic btw!
