ONS - Soft Focus

I thought I'd participate in this week's One Night Stand Challenge. The focus today is soft focus. It was HOT today (35 degrees according to the car) so my daughter decided to go for a dip in the ocean. Well, I bribed her $5 if she'd dip herself so I could get this shot. I used my manual focus to blur her.

and now I know this is not a lake or bay, but just actual OCEAN. Wow. Does your daughter not like to swim out there at all? or just on this day? It made for a great soft focus shot. When I was trying to think of a soft focus photo to shoot (It rained here.) I was thinking it was really only suited to ocean and landscapes...but I got out my Mr. Metal and shot him! hee hee

@espyetta This was her first time in this year. The ocean is pretty cold; there's not much variation between seasons. It was after dinner and a bit breezy so she was reluctant. She said it was very refreshing though!
