I don't get them either. I have seen this sweet idea and actually wanted to do it for one of "the things I love", which is colored pencil, pastels, threads....but I don't want to vandalize/waste them to carve them up or unravel them for a pic! Isn't that funny? I must not be passionate enough about my photography! This is beautifully done Kim. I look forward to your hearts every day.
@moreyoulessme These were tiny scraps of broken crayons when I started. I thought I was going to have to go buy new ones but I managed to find these in the back of my daughter's closet.
How in the world did you make to heart and not mark the paper? excellent idea and capture. You must get lots of email notifications with all those followers.
@lesip I made the shavings on a different piece of paper and then carefully poured them into a heart cookie cutter. I cloned out a few marks and upped the exposure to brighten the white and hide the flaws.
How did I miss this one? I was looking at your collage and was amazed that I missed one. Everyone else seems to have seen it though, because it's so amazing.
