Today was the last day of "HOUSE" baseball. My son's team won and he was declared the MVP for all of his division (four teams of boys born 2003/2004). My husband flew home for the night so he could watch the game. We had NO idea he was going to win so it was great that he was home. My husband used to be ball and collected quite a few MVP trophies of his own so he was rather excited that his son is following in his footsteps.
I must apologize for my lack of comments. I did a prom photo shoot this morning and then rushed to the ball field. It's been a bit of a crazy day and tomorrow we're heading to Victoria (3 hours away) for REP ball so I'll be MIA until at least Monday.
What a great and candid shot. This sounds familiar......Doing anything to be there for your kids games....... Oh, I do miss those Little League and Bobby Sox softball and soccer games that our kids were in. for so long......
what a feat for your son. has he been scouted yet? congratulations and you can see the pride in your husband. it's always a good feeling when your descendants follow in your footsteps. great capture, kim!
congrats to you son! (and to your husband who seems just as excited). I love the way both of your son's feet are entirely off the ground in this shot : )
