Last Sand Sculpture

I'm not sure what this is supposed to be but the theme of the contest was "myths & legends". I thought was a good one to show you the size of the creations made of sand.

So impressive, I always wondered how those sculptures survived the rain and wind ( we have a yearly competition in The Hague, Netherlands) until I saw a documentary explaining this is special sand, mixed with a bit of concrete, if I remember well. I really enjoyed your series of shots on this subject !

A man and his sun were doing a sand sculpture of a shark which before I saw these I would have thought was very good. But these are real works of art.

I'm not familiar with many myths or legends and the only name that comes to mind is Hercules- but I'm pretty sure it's not him. The sculpture is amazing- and your shot captures it well.
