This past weekend we transformed our scary, dirty storage room into a real bedroom! It's a small space but cozy and clean now. It needs paint and flooring (there's cardboard down for now) but it's more than usable. My talented hubby did all the work. We had cleaned out the room last trip so we started with an empty space. It took him less than 8 hours to complete. He gets a hip replacement in a week so we needed to move our room downstairs so that when we return it will be easier for him to get around.
I love a good transformation!! I also like the term 'cabin'. I think in New Zealand we might call this a Bach (pronounced 'batch') if you are in the North Island.. or 'Crib' if you are in the South Island..
Lovely transformation!
Today is one week since my brother-in-law's hip replacement. They were prepared with toilet lift, walker and lots of ice. It's been amazing how fast they get them to do rehab exercises.
That is an amazing transformation!
Good luck to your hubby with his hip replacement. A friend had it done last summer. She recovered really fast and her only regret is that she didn't do it a lot earlier.
Wow, great transformation. Now all you need is one of your awesome photos on canvas over the bed.
I hope your husband recovers quickly from the surgery.
