Last shot from Mont Saint-Michel... I couldn't not show you my $44 omelette from the famous La Mere Poulard Restaurant. The place is quite famous and very expensive. My husband likes omelettes so I thought we'd give it a try. We just about left when we saw that it cost 32 Euros for a bacon and mushroom omelette made with 5 eggs!! We wanted to share but they wouldn't let us so we thought we'd give it a try. Well... it was the strangest omelette we've ever had. It was so light and full of air and very runny!! There was a LOT of butter in it and it was very rich. Needless to say, I didn't really enjoy it. On the positive side, it was nice and warm in the restaurant which we appreciated after all the wind and cold outside.
Holy guaccamole. That's a lot of omlette!

It is indeed a lot of money, but I guess it is something you will remember for a while.
Such an enormous omelette for one ! (and expensive !) I wonder is it a Souffle Omelette , but I do not like the way it seems to be spewing out its rather liquid interior ! Shame you did not enjoy it , and for the price they did not go to town with their presentation !! No omelette treats next time !! eh !!
Hmm ... sounds like a bit of a rip off ... and it does sound as if I wouldn't have liked it either! Interesting to have tried it though and know what all the hype is about, or not!

wow, this is so expensive and the presentation of the food does not look that elegant, Not allow to share? How much food waste this restaurant create? But ... for an experience. I hope your husband enjoyed it.

@ingrid01 You don't want this bacon. It was barely cooked!! The other side was pink and basically raw. I couldn't eat mine.
