July Thumbnail Challenge - B&W Shapes. When I heard the Red Arrows were going to be flying over the City Hall, Belfast at 1pm to celebrate the start of the Olympics I wanted to get a photo of them with the Olympic Rings. Unfortunately I was unsuccessful - I got a photo of the Red Arrows in a triangular formation and 1 of the Olympic Rings. I blended the 2 photos together in Photoshop to create this image.
I just love the surreal nature of this shot! The planes (awesome), the building (also awesome), the processing to put the two together, and...the cows!
