Okay my day started at 5 this morning and it's 11:30 p.m. now and I need to pick a picture. Got home from D.C. a little after 10 and have been looking through my shots. We started out at the Capitol and had a guy named Peter came up to us and asked if we wanted a buggy bike ride somewhere for ten dollars. Looking at each other we decided why not if you can take us over to the Washington monument. He was a great tour guide and we were both happy with our ride. Next stop was the National Tree which is surrounded by a tree for every state. Under the National tree is a huge village and a train that goes all around the village and tree. The weather was wonderful of Dec. and the crowds weren't too bad. Well time for bed . Hope everyone had a great day.
Put my favorite shot in my extras album... Thanks so much for stopping in
@grammyn crowds were not bad but maybe because it was a week day. My parents took us every year when we were kids . We would stand by the Arizona tree and my dad would snap a picture. All 4 of us were born there. Happy memories....
You made it! I am glad to hear the crowds weren't too bad. This is a great shot! I love the Washington Monument in the back. By the way, I am from AZ, too! :)
i have since removed the UV filter from my lens and i just left the circ polarizer on or the ND filter. they're quite cheap, i got mine from amazon. i've learned a lot from 365 much more than i had with those paid lessons. i've met quite a few people who laughed at me whenever i told them i'm on 365. but the advice around here and the hands on challenges are a lot easier to understand.
