It's been years since I've done steel wool photography. I still had all the supplies in a bag in the basement. My friend Donna wanted to give it a try so I brought it in case the weather cooperated. We were joined by a fox that scared the crap out of us. He had crossed in front of Donna when we arrived but we thought he was long gone. I was walking out with my little flash light to spin the whisk and there he was just sitting watching us. It's pitch black when our flashlights are off. We could only see him if we used our flashlight. He stayed awhile before he'd finally had enough of us. It was just too dark to get a good picture of him. Donna might have gotten one with her phone as I held flashlight on him. We did have a little mishap when Donna asked if she could give spinning a try. I gave her my hat (I also had a hoodie on) but didn't tell her don't spin it over your head. Oops !!!! Thankfully she's okay but a little hair singe.
What a great result. We did this with our photo club a few years ago, I wasn't game enough to do the spinning though. Glad your friend got away relatively unscathed all but a bit of a singe. fav
Exciting to hear about the fox and your friend’s hair. Glad it wasn’t anything serious.
