Monarch Butterfly

Monarch butterflies migrate every fall, as cold weather approaches, from Canada and the United States and begin flying south. They continue flying until they reach Southern California or central Mexico, approximately 2,500 miles away from where they started. What an amazing journey for such a small creature!
So beautiful. We are seeing monarchs again here in Iowa since there has been an effort to quit killing all of the milkweeds.
