For GRT - a capture from my great aunt's farm...I can remember when this old pump and well were operational so many years ago.

I remember having such a pump to get our water when I was a child!! We lived in the country and we even had ourhouses:-) Sooooo glad we've moved on up!!

I like this capture and the old rusty pump, I would have it in my front garden, painted and surrounded with flowers. A very nice capture.

@stormi40 Thanks, Marilyn...I remember visiting my great grandparents - they didn't have plumbing, but I think they did get electricity in their later years - can't image that now!

@ladymagpie Thanks, Heather. Some of the buildings they used (like the smokehouse, for storing ham and sausage) are torn down, but I'm glad they kept the well pump...many memories!
