Half light/Half Dark

Continuing to experiment with no flash...I like the way this turned out, mainly because the top portion of the lamp is dark, just like the right side of the photo and pumpkin.

That's interesting Lin, I experimented with no flash on my halogen oven capture yesterday, great minds think alike. This is a lovely capture.

@ladymagpie @stormi40 Thanks! I've just discovered how to turn off the flash (OK, so I've had the camera for 4 years...you'd think I would have found the time to read the manual) Once it starts to get dark, I walk around the house with the camera, looking for ideas!
