A few of my friends and I took a bus trip to the Holocaust Museum in Skokie, IL. It was an unbelievably moving experience. This is a shot of one of the box cars used to transport Jewish families to Auschwitz. Guests at the museum were able to get into this box car to truly experience what these people had to endure. It was stunning and heartbreaking all at the same time.
