Determination by lizzybean

Determination

My husband had a massive stroke in 2009 at the age of 49-after a year and a half in one facility or another,he came home. This past October, and then again just last Sunday, he was hospitalized with hemorrhagic CVA's. He is home again, determined (ponytail and all-we are products of the 60's, college in the 70's-neither one of us ever "outgrew" our long hair)
Moving photo. Day at a time...

Thank you so much for sharing Lizzy. As a paramedic, I see CVA's almost everyday. So hard to see happen to a person, but beautiful to see them persevere regardless. Life is an amazing thing.

You both have been in my thoughts, even though I've been too busy to comment on 365 this week. I'm so glad he is home.

@losthorizon thank you Beau-being a paramedic, you've seen how much determination and forward thinking can mean to, maybe not full recovery in his case, but certainly improvement.
