When I was attempting to get a photo of a neighbor’s beautiful dragon fruit tree flower- the neighbor came out to talk to us. I was a little embarrassed but he put me at ease by offering to give us part of a branch to take home! As instructed, I pushed it into a planter and left it alone! Two weeks later... it’s not only growing branches but a little flower as well! Success!
The Bobcat Fire is at 114,440 acres and 63% contained. This will be my last update because it’s limited to just smoldering at containment lines. We’re thankful and grateful to all those hardworking firefighters!!
