We work at a food bank on Fridays that feeds 600 or more families. This is one of the lines where the cars pull up and we fill their trunks with food. Today was frozen turkeys, frozen sausage, bags of salad, heads of red cabbage, gallons of vinegar, loaves of bread, 12 pack of juices, frozen pizzas, frozen French fries, crackers, cookies and a separate food bank box put together by Los Angeles Regional Food Bank that included cans of vegetables, dried beans, rice and other basic staples.
Wow, that's a lot of food. We don't do fresh or frozen foods at our food banks here in the UK. My husband picks up the crates to take to a distribution centre. Regularly 12 to 18 each week
