A new floor is going in this week. It is a vinyl plank flooring (next to the wall on the right side) that will be installed over the engineered wood floor. The problem is gone now… but was caused by termites. Ugh. When we bought the house in 1997 there was a bright orange thick shag carpet from 30 years prior!
