Cross Tie Walker

"Got no sand in my pocket, you know I ain't tied down.
Ain't no sand in my pocket, never do sit down.
I'm just a cross-tie walker, where the freight trains run.
-
If you see me comin', don't you waste my time.
If you see me comin', don't you waste my time.
'Cause there's more miles between us than the Santa Fe line."

Cross Tie Walker - by Creedence Clearwater Revival (written by John Fogarty)

Disclaimer: Last time I posted a photo of train tracks, it caused some consternation with at least 1 viewer. So: This image was taken at from a sidewalk at an at-grade crossing for an out-of-service rail line. I did not actually walk on the tracks, and I do NOT condone people trespassing on railroad property. Be safe out there, and be smart.

Oh, so no one tied to the tracks so you could get them in foreground and oncoming train in background then??!!! Love this BTW anyway!

A fabulous perspective and DoF. Mr. Fogarty's song fits perfectly.
