Another from last weekend's trip to southern Wisconsin. This is the Rock River, passing through Janesville. There river was quite high this day... and dramatic...
There is a small hydroelectric plant on the far side of this dam. A little digging says it's only 500MW (2 turbines); originally built in 1927, rehabilitated and returned to service in 1994.
