This sculpture is in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. It was originally installed in the Ninth Ward of New Orleans for the 2008 Prospect.1, an exhibition of international art created in response to Hurricane Katrina. It commemorates the destruction of large areas of the city and the slow rescue of thousands of stranded citizens.
