This is a lovely capture of the banana flower. They are quite huge too - this one looks so lush :)
I think you will appreciate this one Diana - I have held a philosophy when buying a house that has 2 main arms.
1. I will not buy land that would not support growing bananas (which means I won't live on land that gets cold enough to frost).
2. I will not buy land that goes under floodwaters.
our house back in the old country had banana plants at the back and so we would have different kinds of banana all year round. legend has it that if you want to have some kind of super power, you must wait with your mouth open under the banana heart until a dew drop forms at the tip and it falls right in your mouth. my cousins and i tried it one night, we got sick for a week as we caught the cold! hahaha!
