The signs posted say "Stay in your vehicle and stay on the road, bison are unpredictable wild animals". There is a herd not too far away in a wildlife refuge where we can drive through and MAYBE see them. This guy was standing in the middle of the road, but the rest of the herd was way off in the field. There was a photographer in a jeep with a gigantic camera mounted on his window who was parked sideways across the gravel road, who did move and let us go by. I told my husband it was worth driving through just to see his camera! It was the biggest camera I've ever seen in my life, even in pictures of wildlife photographers!
