There was a first in my 365 venture - I handed the bike photo on my Macbook Air that I’d taken, to my hubby and let him read all the comments! He said, mmm in a good way which as good as I will ever get as a compliment!
Being a belated anniversary celebration we first went to one of our favourite type of movies, James Bond! Spectre,.. and it worked in all the good ways! Loved the places so well photographed, avoided the serious rough moments, and “shaken, not stirred’ must be our iconic statement!
Then it was to a beautiful restaurant that we appreciate in Oamaru right beside the sea.
Three good things:
1. I couldn’t help recognise a reflection in the wine glass!
2. The seafood platter we ordered included, marinated prawns, smoked salmon wrapped in cream cheese, a hunk of fresh smoked salmon, crab paste, whole shrimps, chewy mussels and crispy breads!
3. I once more appreciated my great zoom for another photo nearby! The other album.
He must show his appreciation in other ways? I wouldn't be able to sustain on mmm... haha. Loved Spectre as well... especially that opening sequence in Mexico City! Your dinner sounds right up our alley, absolutely!
Sounds a wonderful anniversary. I haven't seen Spectre because my hubby doesn't like it and most of my friends have already seen it. I'm just going to have to go on my own. Loved this shot, dony know how you processed it but it looks great
Answer to your question, Maggie. it is to the right of our steps going up to the front deck. Hans built a little fenced in alcove where you see the display in. thank you for your comment, always appreciated.
Sounds just divine, that meal and a cool criap white wine. One of the best things about 365 - being able to vicariously live summer all year round, even when it's dank and gloomy outside.
@kwiksilver You don't need a huge and noisy party to remember an event for, Gilian - the agreed choice of a movie is fairly important though and this was well agreed
