Holed up

I looked at ideas for photos online and found one which was free lensing. Got the idea of putting a black stocking over the lens and making a small hole in it -the stocking, not the lens! Was quite impressed. No special additional light.

Three good things:
1 The hole was very small made with fine and tiny scissors.
2. Its very easy!
3. Tried this with flowers as well as other shots - really good!

Clever. We did something like this at photo club. A piece of card was put over front of lens with pin holes pushed in to defuse the light, also old washing up bottles and the like cut up to use in different ways. Really cheap equipment!
