The inspiration for this photo came from a birthday card I received and it was good to try to get the same effect.
The owl came from Vancouver Island when we were there and the scene in the middle is a cabbage tree on a neighbouring property.
Three good things:
1. I made Salisbury Steak again to take up to my sister who is not well.
2. New potato shoots are just appearing!
3. Rick Stein and his wonderful TV travel programmes!
#3 I can relate to, makes you feel like traveling! You are an amazing person to be able to turn out something like this! So inventive, makes my run of the mill photos look positively boring!
Very clever processing. And dang, reading about your potato shoots reminded me I had intended to plant potatoes this year. I guess we'll just be having salad stuff and rhubarb from our veggie boxes.
@darsphotos She has a form of leukaemia, Darlene but I have heard from other friends on 365 they know personally many who have been able to live a comfortable life with the right medication!
@maggiemae This is very good to hear. There is so much illness like this that people beat all the time. It does take the right medication. I wish her the very best to beat this.
