It seems to be set that Yolanda is about to have new adventures.
Another incentive is telling my Canadian Granddaughter about Yolanda. I can see she is keen to see further - only 2 years old but her Mom can relate the story.
Yolanda did want to know what it would be like to have wings! She dreamt that she was powering through the skies (haven’t we all?) and she had complete control!
Three good things;
1. Mr Woo the Window cleaner came and did a tremendous job!
2. Another FaceTime with granddaughter - its been every day now and she, aged two is telling her mother to contact!
3. I had some jellybeans on a window sill in a jar and they had completely lost their colour! But not their flavour, I can tell you!
Ah that's lovelynthat your granddaughter is so keen to see you, see your rather stricter ways did nothing but good, kids are happy to have boundaries!
Yolanda is following in your footsteps by taking to the skies! Ŷ whose is the bubble speak, Mr Man thinking he will have to go & bring that wayward girl back! Love the jelly bean story, when you fancy something sweet like that who cares what they look like!
Thats true @happypat - boundaries of course. Hope the other grandchildren feel that way too. I note that Mr Man is not that visible - have to see if I can remedy that!
What momentum you have given Yolanda! She is flying in wonder & enjoyment...This shot reminds me of all the fairy tales I have ever read. The colour is glorious, Can't wait to hear her next ad venture..Fav
Super artsy, magical fun and creative - love that this is for your grand daughter. Way cool shot and even better story! I always enjoy your 3 good things - for some reason, it also seems to give me hope and for that too, I thank you.
You have another reason now to continue with your amazing creation and story of Yolanda. just to think that a two year old is maybe as keen as we all are to hear more about her adventures. and one day you'll have to write a book for children and dedicate it to your Canadian Granddaughter. fav.
@bruni I did write a book about Mr Man and Yolanda several years ago, Bruni. Before Granddaughter time. I will send her that one when Xmas comes around.
I have yet to introduce most of my grandchildren to Piggy and the Critters. Leigh, the oldest, has helped me with a picture or two, but the rest are unaware! I'm sure your granddaughter is going to enjoy this story.
A belated compliment for this delightful image. What a delicate force of nature. :) Beautiful and imaginative processing, especially charming for the next generation. While in Washington, D.C., this past week, I bumped into a NZ lad traveling with Irish friends. They needed some help with the cycle rental machines. Very charming young fellow with some great adventures ahead of him - of course, I thought of my 365 connections in NZ! :)

How fun to connect with your granddaughter like that. Glad the jelly beans still had their flavor too
