I took this garden photo looking across the hedge to our next door neighbour (who cut the hedge and has a wee bird house). I wanted to hero the roses in the middle under the kowhai tree but decided the whole scene was too nice to crop!
Three Good Things:
1. Our potato plants are reaching for the skies - just about 3 months since planting so good for the next few days.
2. The new potatoes in the supermarket state Jersey Benne from North Otago but are really tasteless! You have to know where to get the good ones.
3. A good hour playing old tunes on the piano!
@phil_howcroft Thank you Phil - we have 12 rhododendrons and 10 of them were in the garden when we bought the property! Along with 2 camellias, about 5 azaleas and who knows how many roses!
@grammyn One of these fine days, I feel I should put down a rug on this lawn and have a picnic! But not entirely comfortable sitting crosslegged or even sideways on the ground!
