A lovely sunny but cool day. I found my way to a road above the town’s harbour. The day’s temperature high was only 13 degrees but I saw there was a family on the beach this side of the wharf.
My home town is built on the hills that surround this harbour.
That's the second time I've put the correct date and time in this camera and it refuses to accept it!
Three Good Things:
1. I’m proud of my spelling.
2. 3rd day on my diet. It’s going to take a while but I’ve finally started. I can’t get into my clothes!
3. Our new passports were delivered today but won’t be needing them till June.
@maggiemae I thought that was where you were from. We are planning to do the Alps 2 Ocean bike ride in December so I'm sure we will make it to the harbour, or I hope we will. :)
Very interesting to see Oamuru from this side of the harbour. I can see the cafe with the windows looking over the sea. That is a great view from there. Can’t see where we had a meal, I think it’s further along to the right. A lovely town! Good luck with the diet, I have fallen by the wayside & opened a tin of Quality Street...well it was on the last month of expiry so I had to!
@grammyn I'll get there, Katy - just checked the camera having altered it some hours ago and its jumped forward one day! A sharp slap should do the trick!
Wish I could tell you how to fix that camera.
