Purely a diary photo as this day was beset by both a crippling back problem and great highlights of three good rugby matches two of which were held in the Indoor Stadium in Dunedin.
My iPhone does not take good photos.
To be thankful for:
Being inside this stadium as we heard downpours of icy rain thundering overhead! It was only 6degC in there!
Not a good thing to do perhaps on a cold winters day sit in a cold stadium, should have been at home watching on the TV with a warm cushion in your back & hot chocolate! Always good to be actually there though...hope you improve quickly, sore backs are a miserable experience!
Lots of spare seats at the game.
I've never seen a rugby game live but quite enjoy on TV. The loud crowd would be a bit much for me but perhaps I should try and get tickets for one of the Scotland games.
Go gently with your back and hope it improves.
@sarah19 It's quite different when sitting on the sidelines - you have all the youngones yelling and screaming and chanting - but the roar of the crowd when there might be a try is quite exciting!
@maggiemae As a born-and-bred died-in-the-wool AFL girl, I have zero interest in rugby (union or league), but I do take some interest in our various national teams' endeavours. Gotta admit, you Kiwis are better than Oz at rugby. Mind you, only two of our states can be called rugby territory, the rest of Oz is AFL. You deserve the Bledisloe Cup, pity our lot were so bloody pathetic.
@golftragic I don't know if many kiwi's could spell what AFL meant! However all those guys in short shorts running athletically around would bring winks from the girls?
